If you are serious about the way you barbecue then you are equally as serious about the grills you use for the purpose. For some barbecue enthusiasts out there the grill they use is almost more important then the food they are cooking on it. This would make sense for those who take pride in the way they barbecue their food, as well with those who appreciate the power and pride that comes with having a gas barbecue grill that is top of the line. But how do you know which barbecue grill is the best out there?

I guess it is going to be a matter of what you want out of a grill, but even if this is how you think there are certain brands of grills that are indeed top of the line. If you are not aware of these grills then you are in luck as I am going to educate you in this short but to the point article. After you are done you’ll be able to look for yourself to decide which particular type you want.

The four major brands of grills that are tops in their market
The brands are of very good value and quality; they will serve to accomplish any goal you have when you are looking to be the best barbecue chef in your neighborhood. The four major brands are as follow, of course there are several others but these brands are proven.

Weber

Lynx

Viking

Ducane

These grills are not the cheapest on the market. If this is what you are looking for then there are several options for that. But the one thing you need to remember is that these grills are built to last. With other grills you will have to replace them every few years. With the money you would spend doing that you could have bought one of these quality grills.

These gas barbecue grills will also require very little maintenance unlike other grills. Even if you have to end up replacing them you will have no problem as the manufactures have no problem honoring their warranties.

How many grills do you buy where you can call in whenever you want to 24 hours a day, seven days a week to have all of your questions answered? Not too many I can tell you, if you have any concerns the four companies I mentioned above are pretty good at customer service. You can get replacement parts as you need them if something were to happen to your grill as is the case sometimes. But as I mentioned before these grills are built to last so this is a problem you won’t typically have to worry about.

Some people may have different opinions on what the best gas barbecue grill is and who they are manufactured by. As I mentioned at the beginning of this article it is all going to be the opinion of the individual who uses them and what specific purpose they are looking to get out of the grill. If a grill meets your needs then it is the best for you, but it might not be the best for someone else. All in all the four brands I mentioned above are a great place to start looking for the gas powered barbecue grill you want.

Many people who are serious about barbecuing put a lot of consideration into the way they cook the meat. For some people using a propane barbecue grill is the only way to go, while for others they could dream of anything else other than charcoal. There was no one best way to barbecue your food, this is going to be solely the opinion of the person deciding to use said option. But there are indeed pros to using either one of these methods.

Most of these pros revolve around the way the meat ends up tasting once its done cooking and the preparation phase. One way is just so much quicker while the other can be a real hassle and even get downright messy. Take a good look at the pros I mention above for propane barbecue and charcoal barbecue and see for yourself if any one of these pros would be enough to push you over the edge.

Charcoal cooks food low and slow, while propane is much quicker

Charcoal barbecue can take a little time to prepare, this is mainly because you have to wait for the charcoal to heat up and then you have to make sure the charcoal is spread around just right around the grill. If the charcoal isn’t spread just right then certain parts of the grill will end up being hotter than other parts. When this happens your meat will cook higher in certain areas of the grill, this means that you will constantly have to move around meat in order to ensure that it is cooked fully all the way through.

When you are using a propane grill to barbecue your meat you do not have to worry about this. The grill will usually be evenly heated so that all of your meat will cook at the same pace. There is no messy charcoal to deal with before hand and there is no risk of flames jumping up to possibly burn you.

The taste of your food

Propane really kicks charcoal barbecues but because the taste is so much superior. Now of course some people are going to argue that this isn’t the case, some people argue that there is nothing like the taste of charcoal cooked barbecue. But often times depending on how you prepare the barbecue the taste of the charcoal will absorb into the meat.

Some people like this and some people don’t. With propane barbecue you do not have to worry about this and as a result the taste of your food will not be changed. Plus a lot of people do not like the harmful fumes that using charcoal produces so this makes barbecuing by using propane look even more attractive.

While it may seem like a propane option is more expensive than the charcoal option the money you will save by not having to use charcoal over the long haul will add up. Depending on what your personal tastes are you’ll love food that doesn’t have that charcoal taste to it.
